The locally owned and operated Taco Bell restaurants (Hospitality Syracuse, Inc d/b/a Taco Bell) will donate $4,860 to the Children’s Home of Jefferson County through the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens program. The check presentation is at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 10/12 at the Boys & Girls Club SoZo Teen Center located at 171 Polk Street, lower level of the Marcy Building.
Established in 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is a public 501c-3 charity committed to inspiring teenagers to graduate from high school and become caring, educated and productive adults. Through our partners and programs, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs, the Foundation has created a national focus to foster educational, career and service opportunities for teens. Funding comes from the generosity of Taco Bell customer donations and the support of Taco Bell employees, franchisees and partners. The money being donated was collected throughout 2015 in the Watertown area Taco Bell restaurants. Canisters are placed in the restaurants so patrons can support the program by donating their spare change.

The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens is the largest donor to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Inc. (BGCA) giving more than $40 million to support teen programming since 1995. In addition, Taco Bell Foundation for Teens provides grants to other worthy programs that are designed to help teens stay in school and on the path to graduation.
