On December 21, 2017, the Watertown Daily Times’ Letter to the Editor section featured our Boys and Girls Club SoZo Teen Center:
The Boys & Girls Club Sozo Teen Center, continues to be a safe place for our teens to go and to get equipped to become productive young adults in our community. It provides life skills that helps a student to navigate the rough terrain of transitioning into adulthood. If you are looking to give a monetary gift to a nonprofit this Christmas season, this is an organization that cultivates an environment of acceptance and affirmation for our young people. The SoZo Teen center is good ground to plant a financial seed into. It will go toward a vision that empowers and encourages teens.
Mark Purcell, Rande Richardson, Karen Richmond and others, have done a faithful job in keeping these doors open over the last several years, the least we can do is put our money where our mouths are and invest into the life of those who will be our future.
